When to Request an Evaluation: I translate complex school data into actionable insights, helping families determine if it’s time to request a formal special education evaluation. From the first request to the final meeting, I provide a clear roadmap of the process so you always know what’s coming next.
Demystifying Reports: Providing a jargon-free explanation so you feel fully informed.
Key Takeaways: I identify and break down your child’s unique strengths and specific areas of growth.
Connecting the Dots: I bridge the gap between evaluation data and your child’s daily lived experience and learning style.
Recommendations: I provide targeted suggestions for interventions and services rooted in the data. I also will provide recommendations for additional data that needs to be collected.
Meeting Support and Consultation
Navigating school meetings can be overwhelming. I can attend IEP and other school based meetings with you to listen deeply and ask the "why" and "how" questions that ensure your child's needs are met.
Prepping for the Meeting: Before we enter the meeting, we align on our priorities so you can lead the conversation with confidence.
Debriefing the Meeting: After the meeting, we’ll break down everything that happened, ensuring you fully understand the outcomes and feel good about the path forward.
Whole Child Planning and Ongoing Consultation
I collaborate with existing service providers and other stakeholders to help ensure that your child is being seen as a whole person and that their needs are being met in a consistent manner across settings.
Beyond the evaluation process and meetings, I offer dedicated, ongoing advisory, placement consultation, and non-school based meeting support to ensure you have the clarity and guidance needed to make informed decisions at every turn.
Comprehensive Psychoeducational Evaluations for School Districts
I contract with school districts to complete cognitive assessments and/or comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations as part of the special education evaluation process.
